As the autumn days dawn and the temperature drops, in a corner of Home Farm the temperature stays at a balmy 39 degrees! That's the temperature we keep the hot tub bubbling at, so even if its cold outside, it's always hot enough to take a dip!
Our guests can enjoy the hot tub come rain or shine, and indeed there's literally nothing n'ice'r than gazing out from the hot tub after a snowfall like we did the time we snapped the picture above!
Our hot tub is Canadian, so its super well insulated and built for colder climates, so even on chiller days the hot tub stays warm and ready for use. We typically can spend around two hours in the hot tub in the chillier months before we need to pop the lid back on to allow the water to reheat. It takes one hour to heat the hot tub by one degree, so it's possible to pop the hot tub cover on to let the water reheat, and come back an hour or two later and jump back in for round two chilling.
When the weather is awful and chucking it down some guests worry that perhaps it won't be the best time to enjoy the hot tub. We always say that you're going to get wet in the hot tub, so a bit of rain is not going to make a difference, so that really doesn't stop us. So whatever the weather - we promise you a relax in the hot tub is always on our forecast!
